Niagara Thermal Products and Wolverine’s MicroCool™ Division have entered into a strategic collaborative alliance, focusing on the joint development of custom engineered, aluminum cold plates for liquid cooling systems in complicated electronic devices for the global aerospace and defense markets.
Under the collaboration agreement, the two companies are combining Wolverine’s proprietary MicroCool™ fin geometries with Niagara Thermal’s aluminum joining technology and heat exchanger design expertise to develop next generation custom liquid cooling systems, with specific applicability in hybrid electric vehicles, aviation, advanced propulsion systems, alternative energy hardware, UAVs, Satellites, radar systems, and other sectors.
