Daat Research Corporation, a developer of engineering applications for modeling fluid flow and heat transfer, has released a version 12 upgrade for its Coolit computational fluid dynamics (CFD) thermal-analysis software for electronics.
According to the company, improvements in computer-aided design (CAD) import were made to the software that will make it easier to navigate menus and speed up electronics cooling model building and data entry. The new software version also includes new objects in the component library as well as flow visualization and animation control changes for the graphics post processor.
