Corsair, a supplier of high-performance liquid CPU coolers, has announced the Hydro Series H100i and H80i liquid CPU coolers. According to Corsair, the new coolers are a “ground-up redesign” of the company’s H100 and H80 liquid CPU coolers and “have been enhanced to deliver improved cooling, quieter operation [and] simpler installation.”
According to the company, the new series of liquid CPU coolers is designed with “more efficient copper cold plates, improved manifolds, optimized fan designs and a larger diameter tubing” to improve cooling performance. The HydroSeries H100i is equipped with a 240mm radiator while the HydroSeries H80i is equipped with a 120mm radiator and two fans. Both CPU coolers use SP120L high performance fans for high resistance environments.
