Software developer Cradle has released version 10 of its scSTREAM and HEAT Designer computational fluid dynamics software. The new version of the software provides enhanced functional capabilities usually reserved for unstructured grid CFD products to structured grid users in architecture, civil engineering, HVAC and electronics cooling fields.
According to the company, new features for the software package include an expanded parts library, an optional integrated optimization program and a heat path viewer utility. ScSTREAM has also incorporated a new preprocessing option that enhances building information model (BIM) by importing architectural data from architectural design software directly.
