Market forecasting company BCC Research has released a new report, titled “The Market for Thermal Management Technologies.” The report covers a period of seven years between 2011 and 2017 and predicts that the thermal management technologies market will reach $10.1 billion by 2017.
According to the report, the three “largest end markets for thermal management products in 2011” were the computer industry, the telecommunications industry and the medical and office equipment industry. BCC Research forecasts that the computer industry will grow almost seven percent by 2017, while the medical and office equipment industry will remain relatively the same size and the telecommunications industry will shrink by three percent.
The report also suggests that the North American market will remain the number one market during the seven-year period, while the Asia-Pacific countries, excluding Japan, are expected to remain the second-largest market.
