AMETEK Rotron, a developer of brushless DC motors, blowers and pumps for aerospace, military, medical and computer applications, has released a new vaneaxial fan for high performance cooling applications, including military and general aviation avionics, semiconductor processing, environmental control systems, heat exchangers and portable buildings.
According to AMETEK Rotron, the MAIXIAX 9.25 vaneaxial fan measures 23.5 cm in diameter by 20.3 cm in length and is capable of developing the necessary pressure to deliver 707-944 Liters per second (L/s) against a system impedance of 0.99-1.5 kilo Pascals (kPa). The MAXIAX 9.25 fan is paired with a “high speed, aerospace grade 200VAC, 3 ph, 400Hz motor” and is capable of developing a nominal rotation speed up to 7,700 rpm.
