Question: Where can I get more information on advanced composite thermal management materials? What are the costs of the various materials you covered?
Answer: I can provide overview articles. I also teach short courses in-house and for several technical societies and companies. Email c.h.zweben@usa.net.
Cost is a complex issue. Component cost depends on many factors, including:
- Part volume and complexity
- Flatness and roughness requirements
- Plating
- Number of parts.
In the end, the only way to determine cost is to get a firm, fixed quote.
