Automated liquid dispensing equipment provider Fisnar has announced the release of a new multi-tasking robot designed to assist with safe and secure dispensing applications ranging from miniature SMT circuit boards to larger PCBs and finished assemblies.
Ideal for precision form-in-place gaskets, encapsulation, coating, EMI and thermal grease applications, underfill and sealing projects, the model F9960N features a comprehensive 600mm x 600mm working area gantry robot mounted within an enclosed free-standing platform. An included 178mm touchscreen display provides users with the ability to program dispense paths with unique characteristics, including continuous path and point-to-point routing. Other features include software nozzle/tip change alignment routine for quick and automatic program change offsets, access for fume extraction systems; a fail-safe, high clearance, security door; and step-and-repeat functions for quick programming of multiple and identical objects
