Orion Fans, a manufacturer of standard and custom AC and DC fans, fan accessories, fan trays and blowers, has announced the expansion of its IP55-rated and IP56-rated all metal fans for military, chemical, process control and industrial applications.
“With the industry’s shortest lead times, our IP55-rated and IP56-rated all-metal fans offer rugged cooling solutions that can be quickly integrated into designs that require the most reliable fan on the market,” David Luna, vice president of marketing at Orion Fans, said. “[With] a broad offering of sizes, CFM values and voltages, our all-metal fans can be incorporated into a wide variety of harsh environment applications.”
Available in packages ranging from 80mm x 38mm to 280mm x 80mm, the all-metal fans produce airflows of 18CFM to 1130CFM and feature an operating temperature range of -30°C to 80°C. A dual ball bearing design, impedance and thermal protected motors, aluminum die-cast frames and metal alloy impellers ensure a longer life span of up to 65,000 hours. Voltages range from 12VAC to 480VAC; dual voltages and dual speed options are also available.
