AOS Thermal Compounds has released Micro-Faze, a new thermal interface material formulated with non-silicone thermal grease.
Micro-Faze offers a number of technical advantages, including low thermal resistance with minimum force and conformance with coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) deficiencies. Naturally tacky with no adhesive, fiberglass or other non-conductive material included, Micro-Faze offers continued durable resistance over a usable lifetime and is easily stored at a wide range of temperatures.
An ideal replacement for phase-change materials and silicone pads, Micro-Faze allows heat transfer to take place at any temperature, making it suitable for cold plate applications. The material also offers maximum heat transfer capability for power components.
