Recently, CoolIT Systems announced it is delivering a second deployment of its Rack DCLC™ data center liquid cooling solution to the Poznan Supercomputing & Networking Center.
“The PSNC cluster expansion combines Huawei blade servers in the E9000 chassis with CoolIT Systems Rack DCLC liquid cooling system to manage over 80% of the server heat,” according to CoolIT Systems.
“The system will be powered by two Rack DCLC™ CHx650 centralized pumping/heat exchange units to provide liquid cooling to the processor, RAM and VRM components,” the company added.
According to CoolIT Systems, the 1160 compute nodes will be hot-swappable using all metal, dry-break quick connects.
The liquid cooled PSNC cluster is scheduled to be installed in December 2015.
