Parker Aerospace, a business segment of global leader in motion and control technologies Parker Hannifin Corporation (NYSE:PH), announced a new family of cooling pumps featuring a common core of basic motor and pump components.
According to the company, “The Parker pumps are compatible with a variety of dielectric fluids including PAO, Fuel, Galden, and turbine engine oils. The pumps are available in fixed or variable speed configurations to accommodate a variety of flow rates. Both AC and DC motor configurations are available as 115Vac at 400hz, 28 Vdc, or 270 Vdc.
In addition, the pump package incorporates a wet-motor design that allows the fluid to extract heat from the electronics or the sensor suite, while also removing heat from the pump motor itself. This feature is especially important in aircraft applications and installations that require low convective or conductive heat dissipation within enclosed or confined areas.”
