Join Autodesk’s “Fix Your Electronics Cooling Problems” webinar on April 6th, 2:00 pm ET.
Electronics used within products are constantly changing and improving, but the need to ensure proper cooling of these components remains. To maximize product performance, engineers need to overcome common electronics cooling challenges like:
- Reduction in product size
- Increase in overall product performance
- Reducing overall cost
- Extending product lifespan
- Optimizing circuit board design
So what would you design differently if you had the ability to see the invisible elements, like airflow and heat transfer?
Autodesk’s “Fix Your Electronics Cooling Problems” is taught by Matt Thompson, a Subject Matter Expert with the simulation team at Autodesk, who brings over 15 years of experience in using simulation tools. Matt joined the Autodesk team through the acquisition of Blue Ridge Numerics, developers of the CFD analysis tool, CFdesign. Through his tenure at Autodesk and CFdesign, his primary focus has been on pre and post-sales support, training, and consulting. He holds a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University with a major in thermal-fluid flow and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech. His primary focus within the simulation team is the support of both the CFD and FEA tools.
