Rittal Corporation, a manufacturer of industrial and IT enclosures, racks and accessories, has released a new coolant distribution system for use with Rittal’s rack- or door-mounted liquid cooling packages (LCP).
Designed to handle all water routed between adjacent chillers and rack- or door-mounted LCPs, the new distribution unit is available with either four- and eight-tap connectors and can efficiently replace more common manifold-type plumbing layouts with no need for additional equipment. The fittings are located in adjustable rows and accept hoses with 1.5-inch internal diameter for maximum water flow.
According to the company, the CDU is created using Aquatherm polypropylene pipe to protect against condensation build-up without the need for additional installation. All pipes and fittings are heat-fused together into cohesive, corrosion-resistant pieces.
