On September 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. (EDT), Carl Zweben will present a live webinar on Advanced Carbon-Based Thermal Management Materials and Applications.
Overview: In this webinar, we consider advanced carbonaceous (carbon-based) materials, which are now well established, and are being used in a large and increasing number of commercial and aerospace/defense applications. Examples include various forms of diamond, highly-oriented pyrolytic graphite, natural (flexible) graphite, pyrolytic graphite sheet, graphite nanoplatelets, carbon fibers, etc.
This webinar is part of a series of webinars on thermal materials. The first webinar, Advanced Thermal Management Materials and Applications, took place in October 2012. In this webinar, Zwebin reviewed both composites and carbonaceous (carbon-based) materials. The second webinar, Advanced Composite Thermal Management Materials and Applications, was presented in June 2013. In this presentation, Zwebin took a focused look at key advanced composite thermal management materials and applications.
What you will learn: Properties and applications of key carbon-based thermal management materials. Future directions for these materials.
Who should attend: Electronic and photonic packaging engineers, thermal analysts, material scientists, suppliers of thermal management materials.
