Ebm papst, a manufacturer of fans and blowers, has released the new RadiCal centrifugal fans for use in ventilation and air-conditioning applications, including control cabinet cooling, in-line duct fans, home ventilation units or heat pumps.
According to the company, the new RadiCal centrifugal fans are designed with a dimensionally stable, hybrid construction and are optimized to reduce noise by up to 50 percent. New enhancements to the design of the motor heat management systems enable increased heat dissipation, which in turn increases fan efficiency. The RadiCal fans feature a high level of IP protection and are resistant to corrosion and solar radiation.
The new centrifugal fans are currently available in sizes 133 to 250, with drive outputs between 35 and 170 W, and in size 500, with three different EC motors offering drive outputs of 500 W, 1 kW and 3 kW.
