Thermoelectric cooler manufacturer TECA Corporation has released the AHP-6263, the largest commercially available thermoelectric air conditioner currently on the market featuring a half-ton of cooling capacity.
The AHP-6263 three-phase, 240 VAC air conditioner includes the energy-saving Eco-Mode feature, which uses passive cooling to reduce energy usage by up to 86% compared to the active cooling mode, the company said. A 250 VDC version of the AHP-6263 for crane applications is also available and is configured for NEMA-12, NEMA-4 and NEMA-4X environments.
