Laird Technologies, Inc. has added its Thermoelectric Module (TEM) product line to Digi-Key’s Product Training Modules OnlineOn Demand (PTM)® series. This module is available for download in audio and non-audio formats from the Digi-Key Website.
The training module provides an in-depth examination of a TEM’s composition and functionality, describing its attributes and abilities, and also citing examples of where TEMs are used in cooling applications. The tutorial includes a review of Laird Technologies’ TEM simulation software tool: AZTEC™. AZTEC selects the optimal TEMs for trial from a given set of input variables based on application attributes that the user specifies. The program also contains an analysis worksheet, which simulates how the TEMs will function under a specific set of operating conditions.
