Future Facilities is participating in Facebook’s Open Compute Project (OCP).
Started by Facebook, the Open Compute Project’s mission is to form an open IT hardware and data center design community to enable the delivery of the most efficient server, storage and data center hardware designs for scalable computing.
Through its 6SigmaOpenviewer, Future Facilities is donating software that will streamline communication between suppliers and end-users, and innovation for IT hardware and data center manufacturers. In effect, 6SigmaOpenViewer is a common language for the Open Compute community that will help to overcome the traditional barriers to communication found in the data center industry.
